We started Alongside Assisted Living because we truly believe that our senior population deserves the best quality care from caregivers who really do care. As a Paramedic/Firefighter in Howard County for 5+ years, I have always had a passion in serving the elderly community through their hardest times. In my years of treating residents, I was often horrified by the conditions of assisted living facilities and angered by the lack of empathy from staff. I knew I could do better and I knew these people deserved better.
I started Alongside Assisted Living with one real purpose in mind: Provide exceptional care and treat residents like family. Here at Alongside Assisted Living, every resident matters to us. Whether it be birthday parties, a favorite meal, or just a hand to hold during hard times, we will be there alongside you.

We encourage and help our residents decorate their rooms with personal picture frames and art. Whether it be mounting a personal TV or using your own furniture, let us make you feel right at home!
